A very big
congratulations

Morgan

It made my

receive
their
excited
phone call
yesterday,
on speaker
phone so I
could hear
all of their
details.
What a good
girl Elle
was to foal
in the
middle of
the day so
that the
whole family
could enjoy
the
spectacular.

Monday 12th

witnessed
the birth of
Teal’c
[paddock
name for
now...]
Kids and
Derek voted
for the name
– means
strength and
Teal’c is
fav
character in
a tv show.
We had some
very
precious
moments. He
is a
beautiful
golden
buckskin. It
was well
worth the
wait seeing
Elle was 13
days overdue
today.... so
glad to have
him out and
alive. We
love him so
much but
Elle is
hogging him
at the
moment.

 Maxine is
a true
'Awesome
Miracle'. On
the day that
her mother
Misty
scanned
positive 14
days in foal
with her,
there was a
terrible
thunderstorm
and Misty
ran through
several
fences at
her home
causing
horrendous
injuries.
The vet took
7 hours to
stitch Misty
back
together and
it was touch
and go
wether her
injuries
would be
fatal. The
vet gave a
slim to no
chance of
Misty
holding onto
her foal.
Fortunately
with the
loving care
of her
owners Libby
and Kevin,
Misty made a
wonderful
recovery and
amazingly
held onto
her foal to
full term.
At 5PM on
Tuesday,
Libby phoned
me as her
baby was
born. I was
in tears
along with
Lib at the
sheer
excitement
and relief.
I dont think
Libby has
come back
down off
cloud nine
yet.
A message
from Lib;
.....
"Hi
guys,she
had a
filly
with
colour
yee haa.
She has
a big
splash
on her
off side
and
little
splash
maybe
two on
her near
side,and
i think
2 socks
, bit to
much
blood I
will be
able to
see
better
tomorrow.
She is
just
what i
ordered
i am
sooooo
happy
its not
funny.
