We had been looking around for a prospective stud colt for a few years as we were looking for 'the all-round paint horse' for our future sire and it was important to us that he be versatile.

On the morning that Oh Im Awesome was born our search was over and we  knew  straight away that he was 'the one'.  He had the looks and conformation to halter, but importantly he had the pedigree to ride. Oh Im Awesome is out of the great MULTIPLE NATIONAL HALTER & PERFORMANCE CHAMPION producing mare 'Oh So Special' (Special Affects) 

What a  weanling campaign Oh Im Awesome had! He won the most prestigious of paint events - the NATIONAL WEANLING HALTER FUTURITY out of 26 of the Nations best foals!  He was the National Champion Weanling Colt, Reserve National Champion A/O Colt and also the PHAA High Point Weanling Colt of Australia for the year, along with many other accomplishments attained during his weanling season.

Oh Im Awesome followed this up with an incredible yearling season.  He had an incredible show at the Victorian State Show under USA Judge Rod Cavinder, winning the Overall Victorian State Yearling Versatility and he also won State Titles for Lunge line and Led Trail. 

During his yearling season Oh Im Awesome was also Reserve National, State (Victoria & NSW) & Aust Halter Showcase Halter Champion and a Multiple Open Yearling Futurity winner in NSW and Victoria. 

He capped off his yearling season at the Sydney Royal Show, where he won the Open Yearling Halter Futurity and was awarded SUPREME PAINT HALTER EXHIBIT!

Oh Im Awesome's biggest accomplishment under saddle  in open company to date, was to reach the final at the NPHA for the $20,000 2YO Western Pleasure Futurity (he was the only paint horse finalist to make the Top 10, in a field of 29 of Australia's best performance bred horses!) He also finalled in the 2YO Western Pleasure at the Australian Halter Showcase (again in a field of about 30 performance horses!)

At the 2007 National Championships he gained yet another NATIONAL HALTER TITLE when he was awarded 2YO National Champion Colt! We were especially thrilled when he was called out as the National Champion as he had been particularly prepped to ride at this show!

Oh Im Awesome filled his limited book early in his first season standing at stud. He has proven himself to be an extremely potent stallion with and he has 12 foals due in 2008. Arnie's Dam is the great Halter and Western Pleasure producer 'Oh So Special'.  Her progeny are National Champions at Halter, Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle.
